The Builder
Concept Builder & VB Homes
What began in 1963 has grown into one of the Pacific Northwest's most trusted custom home builders still family-owned, still driven by the same values. From Charlie Schaafsma's first homes in Enumclaw to his grandson Joseph's modern designs, every generation has added something new while keeping what matters: honesty, craftsmanship, and the belief that a home should be built to last lifetimes. Today, Concept Builders Inc. blends old-world building integrity with contemporary design creating custom homes that are as unique as the families who live in them.
Jeremy VonBargen moved to the Seattle area from Grangeville, Idaho, to study chemical engineering at Pacific Lutheran University and while attending college he gained employment in the new home construction field. With encouragement from his family and friends and even his employer, Jeremy started his company, VBHomes, in 2004.

The Landscape
Darwin Webb
Darwin Webb Landscape Architects is a design studio with a focus on residential gardens and landscapes. The majority of our work is in the Pacific Northwest where our diverse topography, micro-climates and robust local economy offer a wide range of site conditions and project types from vacation cabins to large urban and country estates. Repeat clients have blessed us with projects further afield including Idaho, Oregon, California, Mexico, and the UK.
The well-designed garden provides beauty, function and meaning. It blurs the boundary between building and site. Thoughtful landscape design and site planning are critical to proving seamless indoor/outdoor living, while enabling the home to naturally integrate with its site.
